It might be getting towards the depths of winter but Timo Nest always attracts a warm crowd. Its great to see Timo back underwater for his latest series of photographs and the results, as always, are minimal. That’s meant in a nice way because naturally, they are spectacular! He recently visited Iran and is showing work by his friend and colleague Zoya Tavakoli. Zoya hasn’t made it for the opening because its not easy for people from Iran to visit Australia but … these two go together like a strawberries and cream, horses and buggies, not to forget sea and sky …. beautiful …. Timo Nest and Zoya Tavakoli CCAS Manuka Gallery on until 13 June.
