CANNONBALL RUN

Fresh faced TV star Richard Bell opened his survey show at MUMA on Saturday arvo. The NITV show Colour Theory is such a hit that Richard’s being head hunted by the ABC. Richard has a new alter ego performance character in development. His name is Ritchie and he is completely irresistible to all Aryan women and is bi curious.

Charleville’s most famous son told us how art had saved him from his Childhood dream of entering politics. The other thing Charleville is famous for is a failed attempt by some crazy old white fella to break a drought by shooting cannon balls into clouds. This is where the saying ‘what a balls up’ comes from. The cannons used remain on display in Charleville today.

We sunk a few to celebrate how Richard turns being a smart ass into art. Gary Foley gave the best opening address I’ve ever heard. Instead of the usual starchy art dinner for a few, all of Richard’s mates and hangers on got to hang out and gorge on BBQ snags and pink champagne.
