MELBOURNE NOW MELBOURNE WOW

Melbourne Wow is the biggest undertaking of the NGV eva. The show is so good it’s almost disappointing. No tall poppies to pull down. Who knew that there were so many talented people within shooting distance?

We perused one fantastic exhibit after another, only stopping to refuel with chicken sandwiches, salmon pinwheels and a grapefruit Tiro.
Highlights include an incredible Kids Activity centre by Meredith Turnbull (hello Xmas pressie’s), Darren Sylvester’s Disco Dance floor, Slave Piano’s Karmic Kinetic musical sculpture, a boxing ring from Richard Lewer, and a collection of objects chosen by Patrick Pound that celebrates the Breath. And its importance to life.
And the show hasn’t even properly opened yet.
The Melbourne Now Artists Party is Tonight so watch this space for more Social Page highlights.
