THINK OF YOUR THOUGHTS

Georgia and Rowan

In an exhibition of clouds worthy of Wordsworth, Georgia Black presents a series CMKY screen prints coated with beeswax. This gives her work the appearance of transparency – as if you are looking through the print and into the void. A spectacular colour palette meanwhile seems to  bounce off a white background. Its not all about clouds of course as Georgia gets into some serious experimentation with watercolour and beeswax drawings for Go Ahead Fly that Thing, High! All in all Think of your Thoughts is a very desirable show with affordable work and the red dots started to appear very early in the piece. Wouldn’t advise wasting any time all getting over to CCAS Manuka to look at the work of a master printer continuing Canberra’s fine tradition for experimental print media. At CCAS Manuka until 6 December.
