COMING/GOING UP : CI-LINES
Its all happening at CCAS right now with brilliant exhibitions by Marie Hagerty and Tony Curran already up ! Meanwhile in the Cube Vanghoua Anthony Vue is install Ci-Lines an exhibition inspired by the incredible arts and crafts of his Hmong ancestors that references the memories of his father during years in a refugee camp in Northern Thailand. Using fluorescent materials and pulsating black lights Anthony has created a map of the last camp while reminding us that there are still Hmong refugees in the mountains of Northern Laos that still have nowhere to go. This show is going to be an absolute cracker and will open on Friday night.
