THE GARAGE AT SILO
Sara d’Alessandro and Sabrina Baker have been keeping us on our toes with exhibitions that seem to pop up when you least expect them. There have been tw0 exhibitions actually in Garages, one in an empty shop and now they have gone quite up market to Silo, one of the most glamorous bakeries in the ACT. Rosalind Lemoh made use of the entire space, the counter, the cheese room and the passage leading to nowhere in particular, to show some new work as well as bring back some her popular favourites such as the sequinned head with a knife in it. The food and wine was superlative of course and so was the conversation. Silo it seems is much more than a cool place to have lunch or buy bread.
